Some clarification about collaboration in this course:

There are two kinds of groups in this course: those you’ll be working with week-to-week, and project groups in which you’ll be working on larger assignments. For the first part of the course, the emphasis will be on the week-to-week groups, which have been assigned by the instructor. Your work in these groups, much of which will be represented on the class blog through posts and comments, is an opportunity to demonstrate your potential value to the project groups. You’ll get to form your own project groups.
